It is a matter of a few days that Coronavirus has spread its roots inside our country. It has disturbed the lifestyle, education, health of several people. Government jobs are not left untouched by this virus. Most of the examinations that were earlier scheduled for the month of March, April and May 2020 are now postponed. Various state level and national level examinations are suspended due to Coronavirus. Here are such examinations that are postponed till now:
SBI Clerk Main Exam2020:
- The preliminary examination for SBI Clerk was conducted on February 22, 29, March 01, 08 2020.
- Those who qualified preliminary examination were called for SBI Clerk mains examination.
- The examination was scheduled for April 19, 2020.
- SBI Clerk mains examination is conducted as a computer-based test. The duration for this examination is 02 hours and 40 minutes.
UPPSC Document Verification 2020 for RO/ARO Date Extended:
Due to the ongoing lockdown for the COVID-19, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the Document Verification round for the posts of Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer.
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has postponed the Document Verification for the Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer posts due to outbreak of COVID-19. Earlier Document Verification was scheduled from 26 March to 23 April 2020 but it was postponed due to COVID-19 earlier.
ESIC New Delhi Interview 2020 Postponed:
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Okhla New Delhi has postponed the Interview scheduled on 13 May 2020 for Senior Resident and Contractual Specialists posts. The next date of interview shall be announced depending upon next guidelines/advisory issued by Government of India in near future.
BHU Written Exam 2020 for Staff Nurse Posts Postponed:
According to the short notification released by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the date has been postponed due to COVID-19. Notification further says, “In view of COVID-19 related uncertainty this is to inform that the written test for the vacant posts of Staff Nurse under NHM sponsored Ogerationalizatioa of SNCU in the Department of Pediatrics, IMS, BHU under Scheme No. 5064 has been postponed till further notice.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Project Assistant Interview 2020 Postponed:
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the short notification according to whihc, in view of the extension of the lockdown period (Covid-19 situation) the walk in interview for the post of Project Assistant/ JRF is postponed to 29th June 2020, 2-5 PM.
ESIC Assam Recruitment Process 2020:
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), North East Region (Assam) has suspended the Document Verification/Medical Test for the post of UDC & Stenographer. Organisation has released the short notification on 05 May 2020 on its official website.
NARL JRF Recruitment 2020 Last Date Extended
According to the short notification released by the National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL), the last date for submission of application for JRF Post has been extended up to 15-05-2020
Karnataka Forest Department Recruitment 2020 Last Date Extended:
According to the short notification, now candidates can apply for these post upto 15 June 2020. Earlier last date for the submission of Forest Guard posts was 15 May 2020.

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has extended the SEBI Recruitment 2020 Online Application Last date upto 31 May 2020.According to the short notification released by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), due to the lockdown announced by Government of India, the last date for On-line Application and Payment of Fee for Grade A Posts has been extended. SSC Medical Exam Postponed:
Staff Selection Commission has postponed the Review Medical Examination (RME) in respect of
candidates of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018, which was scheduled to be held from 24.03.2020 to 30.04.2020.
SSC has also postponed the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) in respect of 1,723 candidates of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018, which was scheduled to be held
from 26.03.2020 to 07.04.2020.
SSC has also release the notification regarding the Postponement of the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) in respect of the remaining candidates of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination, 2018, which was scheduled to be held from 23.03.2020 to 30.03.2020.
