The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), a Statutory body established under the NCTE Act, 1993 has released a recruitment notification for multiple posts in Group B and C Posts. The NCTE will be recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Assistant, Stenographer Grade ‘C’, Stenographer Grade ‘D’, Lower Division Clerk (LDC) & Data Entry Operator(DEO). The total no. of vacancies for the NCTE Recruitment 2020 is 18. Candidates who possess the required educational qualification can apply online from 20th August to 19th September 2020.

Educational Qualification:

a) For the post of Assistant

A degree from a recognized university.

1. Two years’ experience in general administration/establishment/stores/accounts in Central/State Govt., autonomous or other organizations.
2. The facility in Computer Applications

b) For the post of Stenographer

1. 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
2. A speed of 100 words per minute for Grade C and 80 words per minute for Grade D in English/Hindi Shorthand.
3. The skill of Data Entry and Word Processing in computer

c) For the post of Data Entry Operator (DEO)

1. 10+2 from a recognized Board / University.

Should possess a speed of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.

d) For the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

1. 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
2. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
3. Knowledge of working on computer.
4. Skill Test Norms ‘only on computers’

Age Limit:

  • For the post of f Assistant, Stenographer Grade ‘C’, Stenographer Grade ‘D’, LDC: 18 to 27 years
  • For the post of DEO: 18 to 25 years
  • For the post of LDC and Assistant: Between 20 to 27 years

Note: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women & Ex-Servicemen category will be as per Govt of India Rules.
